About us

About Rove Pakistan

Rove Pakistan Travel & Tours is a premium travel company and specialist destination management partner built around the belief that Pakistan deserves to be experienced with greater depth, care, and authenticity. We design journeys that bring together beautiful landscapes, meaningful cultural connection, high-touch service, and strong local execution.

Our Story

Rove Pakistan was created to present Pakistan in a way that feels more refined, more grounded, and more complete. We saw the need for a company that could combine local trust and destination insight with the standards expected by international travellers, private groups, and global travel partners. From the mountain valleys of Hunza and the cultural diversity of Chitral to the sacred routes of Punjab and the layered histories of Sindh, our journeys are shaped to feel seamless, respectful, and memorable.

Our Roots

As being natives of Hunza, our deepest  roots lie in Gilgit-Baltistan, especially in the wider Hunza, Upper Hunza, and Gojal landscape. That local grounding gives us particular strength in mountain routes, community access, route planning, accommodation selection, local guiding, and the slower, more human side of travel that is often missing from generic itineraries. It also shapes our wider brand identity: premium travel, designed by people who know these places intimately.

What We Do

We design and operate private tailor-made journeys, small-group departures, seasonal journeys, festival and cultural departures, premium faith and heritage routes, wildlife and natural-history expeditions, north-to-south civilization journeys, and DMC support for international travel partners.
Leadership

Rove is led by co-founders whose experience extends beyond tourism into banking, management, logistics, community development, enterprise, local leadership, volunteer work, and conservation-linked engagement. That background brings a different quality to the company: stronger operations, more careful planning, deeper local relationships, and a genuine respect for communities and place.
Community Development, Leadership & Conservation

A defining part of Rove’s identity is its connection to community-led conservation, local institutions, and cultural stewardship in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. This is part of what makes our wildlife and cultural positioning credible: it is grounded not only in destination knowledge, but in lived local experience and long-standing engagement with the people and institutions that shape these landscapes. Our Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Zahid Ali Sakhi, has remained actively engaged with community platforms including Gojal Conservation & Development Association (GCDA), Wakhi Tajik Cultural Association (TCA), Hunza Chamber of Commerce & Industry (HCCI), the Aga Khan Economic Board (AKEPB), and Shahi Khyber Imamabad Development Organization (SKIDO). Through these roles, his work has connected with conservation, local development, climate and plantation initiatives, cultural preservation, youth and women’s development, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and community capacity building. For Rove, this matters because meaningful travel in mountain regions requires more than access. It requires trust, local understanding, and respect for both community and habitat. That wider grounding helps shape journeys that are more responsible, more authentic, and more deeply connected to place.
