Swat Valley, located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, is a cultural and religious centre where ancient Buddhist remains are present. The valley previously suffered from political and ethnic discord, but presently is a busy tourist destination. Tourist can enjoy ancient remains while visiting historical places like Takht-I-Bhai.

The valley of Naran-Kaghan is in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. It is considered one of the most scenic valleys in the world. Two of the most beautiful lakes in the northern areas are located here: Lake Saiful-ul-Mulk and Lake Lulusar.
